Policies and Procedures
Hours of Operation

I am open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday (extended morning hours available at an additional cost).

Care will not be provided on the following days: Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria's Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.

Nutrition

I understand that children need the fuel to drive their imaginations! I have commissioned RN Leanne Phillipson-Webb the author of Sprout Right, to develop a meal plan that is healthy, nutritious and safe for all the children in my environment. I serve a morning and afternoon snack and a substantial lunch with seasonal fruits and vegetables.

Due to my children's life threatening food allergies, my house is free of all Nuts, Green Peas, All Legumes (beans) and Sesame.

Cleanliness

Keeping my home clean to ensure the good health of your child and my children is extremely important to me. The playroom has large floor to ceiling windows. There are hardwood floors throughout with uncluttered and bright, sunny rooms conducive to learning and play. We are a pet-free environment, and I regularly clean and maintain an exceptional level of cleanliness.

Note: Additional information is provided in the enrollment package.

Health and Safety

I regularly update my First Aid CPR certification along with my Driver's Abstract, Police and Vulnerable Sector clearance. I have also acquired my certification in Food Handling from the Government on Ontario, and have completed training in Sexual Assault & Violence Intervention and Car Seat Safety Training. I have also completed a full home Fire Inspection from the town of Oakville.

My home is equipped with an automated self-locking front door, safety gates, child-safe electrical sockets and fire escape plans at the 2 main exit points.
